50 anniversary presentation

In 1966 was born the Hotel School Sant Pol de Mar with the goal to prepare the managers of the new industry that is the hope of a whole country winds of change: Tourism and Hospitality.

We reach 50 years, to prepare the celebration we have organizated varioius activites to be carried out during the 2016-17 school year.

Seventh meeting of the managers of hospitality university members “Hotel Schools of Distinction”

Celebration of the biannual meeting of “Hotel Schools of Distinction” association members, which brings together some of the best hospitality universities in the world. The Hotel School Sant Pol de Mar was one of the founding members.

 

November 7th, 2016

Meal in honor of Alumni and Teachers

A tribute ceremony dedicated to Alumnis and Teachers who have been part of the school during theses 50 years.

The tasting menu offered is designed by chefs Joan Roca (3 Michelin stars and 2013 and 2015 World’s Best Chef), Albert Adrià (2015 Best World’s Pastry Chef and leader of elBarri, 3 Michelin stars), Xavier Pellicer (1 Michelin star), Ramon Freixa (2 Michelin stars) and Miquel Aldana (1 Michelin stars). The last three chefs are Sant Pol Alumni.

November 14th, 2016

“European Young Chef Award” Final Competition

Hotel School Sant Pol de Mar hosts the final of the culinary competition “European Young Chef Award” official act within the “European Region of Catalonia Gastronomy” program. The jury will be chaired by the chef Joan Roca.

Roud table on local products and the influence of the great chefs in the young professionals. The round table will be led by Joan Roca (3 Michelin stars and 2013 and 2015 World’s Best Chef) and Carme Ruscalleda (7 Michelin stars).

Institutional Ceremony and Meal

Celebration of the fifieth anniversary of the school with invited institutions and entrepreneurs in the sector.

The tasting menu offered is designed by chefs Joan Roca (3 Michelin stars and 2013 and 2015 World’s Best Chef), Albert Adrià (2015 Best World’s Pastry Chef and leader of elBarri, 3 Michelin stars), Xavier Pellicer (1 Michelin star), Ramon Freixa (2 Michelin stars) and Miquel Aldana (1 Michelin stars). The last three chefs are Sant Pol Alumni.

estudié em Saint Pol del 1994 hasta 1997. Fuerón 3 años de mucho aprendizaje y seguro que unos de los mejores momentos de mi vida. Hoy trabajo como director de la cuarta cadena hostelera de Brasil.
