Although the academic year 2015-16 ended in early June, the Hotel School of Sant Pol de Mar has teached this summer the second edition of the Summer School, for students of courses in Tourism, Hotel Management, Business Administration or Gastronomy .

The summer course of two weeks, has as specialty the Hotel and Restaurant Management and Kitchen and Gastronomy, has closed its second edition with three groups, in which more than 60 students of more than 10 nationalities, they have studied 6 subjects (sommeliers, events, destination management, distribution systems, food culture and molecular cuisine) and complement them with professional visits in important locations of the sector such as Mercado de La Boqueria, the Jamón Experience museum, and combine it with lunch 5 course tasting with pairings and visit the vineyards of the organic winery Alta Alella.

In addition to academic experience, students who have completed the Summer Course other enriching experiences to have shared studies and leisure time with colleagues from different countries and cultures, and traveled and enjoyed the Mediterraneo Coast during the weekends off each student decided how to use.

In addition to the experience and knowledge gained in the Summer Course, the students may validate the course materials and for college credits at their home universities.
