It is Summer time and in EUHT StPOL we welcome new students passionate about the world of gastronomy and restaurant service. All of them will come from different countries and will spend two weeks at the Hotel-School. They visit us with the aim of knowing our culture, learning new things and living an authentic #stpolexperience
During May, June and July, EUHT StPOL will host five groups of students graduated in different specialties (Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration and Gastronomy). The Summer Course teaches the following 6 subjects: food, events, destination management, distribution systems, culinary culture and molecular cuisine.
In addition, the theoretical classes will be complemented by professional visits to emblematic places such as Boqueria Market, the Jamón Experience Museum, the organic winery Alta Alella – where they will taste the typical Catalan cava – and, for the first time ever, a visit to Operasamfaina; a gastronomy and art experience.
Once the Summer Course is over, the students will obtain an official title. They can validate it by subjects or university credits at the educational centers of their country.
WE HIGHLIGHT
Ana Belén Charry, a finalist of MasterChef Colombia 2016 edition, has been a student of one of the Summer Courses. EUHT StPOL has had the opportunity to interview her. Thus has lived its #stpolexperience:
