21 October, 2024Since 14 November we have been part of the World Tourism Organization, a United Nations agency.
On 14th November EUHT StPOL joined UN Tourism, the United Nations agency responsible for the promotion of responsible, sustainable and accessible tourism for all. This took place at the 122nd session of the Executive Council of UN Tourism, which was held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
Being part of this network positions our institution on the international scene and facilitates access to other members, as well as offering the advantages of the most important public-private organisation in the international tourism sector. Our membership is very positive, as it is a key organisation in the development of responsible, sustainable and globally accessible tourism, with a special focus on the interests of developing countries. We join more than 500 affiliated members with very different profiles, where everyone can bring a very different and valuable point of view and contributions.
