9 June, 2021The Graduation Ceremony that was held on June 4 at the EUHT StPOL facilities following the Covid-19 prevention measures. For first time ever, the event was streamed on YouTube, so that students who couldn’t attend, as well as their families, could watch it.

During her master lecture, Silvana Millet, president of COPTUR (Official College of Tourism Professionals of Catalonia), highlighted the skills that every professional in the hospitality and tourism industry must always bear in mind: resilience, adaptability, initiative, multitasking and attention to detail, among others. This is what by definition makes hospitality and tourism professionals precisely this: professionals of their industry.
Delivery of diplomas to graduates
During the Graduation Ceremony, the students who completed their studies in 2019-2020 received their diplomas as graduated of Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Technical Degree in Gastronomy and Restaurant Service, Master in Hospitality Management and Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management. So, officially, the #StPOLAlumni network added new members from around the world.
Double diploma for the Bachelor’s Degree students
For the third consecutive year, the graduates in Hospitality and Tourism Management received a diploma awarded by Hotel Schools of Distinction (HSD), called “HSD Student Learning Visual Transcript”, which accredits the objectives achieved by the students as well as the skills and knowledge acquired, agreed and accredited by 10 of the best universities in hospitality management in the world that are part of the HSD network; of which EUHT StPOL is a founding member.
