We interview José Miguel Gómez Morales in order to know how is he living the experience of being Restaurant Sant Pau’s chef, run by the three-star chef Carme Ruscalleda

José Miguel Gómez Morales (Colombia) is a professional in the cooking and patisserie areas. After studying our Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management, he had the chance to get a close look at the kitchen of the most famous restaurant in Sant Pol; Restaurant Sant Pau that is managed by the three-star chef Carme Ruscalleda.

“To me, the University College of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts in Sant Pol de Mar has been a great gastronomic opportunity in Spain, since this is a college with great reference in Europe and worldwide,” mentions José Miguel.

“In addition to having classmates from all over the world, I was lucky enough to cook alongside some other internationally acclaimed chefs like Joan Roca.”

A tip for current students…

“It is very important to look on the bright side of things, since college has them. Always step forward positively and work hard to succeed”.
