It is ranked 5th best Hospitality university in the world according to the Employer Reputation index (reputation among employers in the industry)
The University College of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts of Sant Pol de Mar, affiliated to the University of Girona, is the first Spanish university college in the Hospitality and Tourism domain to climb the TOP 50 of the prestigious QS World Ranking of Universities by subject. It is an annual ranking of 800 universities around the world indexed according to the quality of the teaching by areas of knowledge.
The QS Ranking takes into account different indicators. Among them, the most important are academic reputation and employer reputation. The latter depends on how well-known and appreciated are the students and alumni of the university are appreciated in the industry.
EUHT StPOL is one of the 12 Spanish centers appearing in the QS World University ranking by subjects. In the Hospitality and Leisure Management area, EUHT StPOL is the 1st and only Spanish university listed, thus being the best in its specialty. Among the European universities, EUHT StPOL has the 17th place being, at the same time, the 48th worldwide in the same specialty.
