The new appointment has been carried out as a result of the retirement of Mr. José Hernández García, Academic Director so far
Dr. Eva Canaleta-Safont, Technical of Companies and Tourist Activities (EUHT StPOL), bachelor’s degree in History (University of the Balearic Islands), in Social and Cultural Anthropology (Universitat de Barcelona) and Doctor in History (University of the Balearic Islands), has been named Academic Director of the University College of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts of Sant Pol de Mar.
Dr. Canaleta-Safont, a former student of EUHT StPOL, will be the new Academic Director because of the retirement of Mr. José Hernández García, who has had this charge so far.
The professional career of Dr. Canaleta-Safont has focused mainly on qualitative research in the field of health. She also has extensive experience in the world of hospitality and catering. After 4 years as a coordinator of the Master in Hospitality Management of EUHT StPOL, Dr. Canaleta-Safont will be in charge of the Academic Direction of the School, a project that she faces with desire and enthusiasm.
